FINTAN 737B from Silvateam is a chemically modified natural polyphenol that enhances the performance of corrugated cardboard starch adhesives.
FINTAN 737B is simple and ready to use on the corrugated glue line. Optimal benifits can be realized just by adding FINTAN 737B at a ratio of 4 - 8% w/w of the starch based adhesive Since this product enhances the tack properties, starch usage may be reduced up to 20%.
This additive was developed to meet the highest environmental standards while maximizing adhesive performance. It works as a wet strengthener. Basically, it reacts with starch based adhesives and develops a high number of cross linking bonds.
FINTAN 737B is brown-reddish slightly alkaline liquid and is very stable at temperatures below 80°C. It is packaged in 230 kg plastic drums or 1200 kg corrugated IBC. Product is classified as "not dangerous".
